Stored records and purposes
Reddit Fetch stores email, password hashes, API key hashes and prefixes, credit usage, abuse-related information including IP information, and payment transaction records. These support account access, request authentication, credit accounting, payment verification and abuse prevention. Passwords and keys are not stored as plaintext account secrets. Listing these categories does not publish individual hashes, personal information or payment details, and hashing is not a guarantee against every form of unauthorized access.
Browser storage and authentication
The account widget stores invoice and user identifiers in localStorage separately for each hostname to recover saved invoice state. It does not persist the raw API key there. The account session uses a Secure HttpOnly cookie, separate from the key header used for retrieval. HttpOnly applies to the cookie, not to localStorage. Your own application’s backend and browser-storage choices are distinct from this widget; keep its archive key out of frontend code and public logs.
Analytics and retention scope
Pages include Statinside analytics counter 43 for website analytics, without an exact provider-field list or cookie-behavior promise. No fixed retention or automatic-deletion deadline is established for account data. This promises neither indefinite account storage nor deletion at a particular date, and says nothing about archive record permanence or availability. Responses you save in your own backend cache belong to your application’s data handling and do not imply that a future archive query can restore those files.
